March 19, 2006:  Tournament Season

Shooters, the tournament season is here.  If you shoot skeet, trap or sporting clays, now is the time to get ready.  Skeet started the season with the annual St. Patrick’s Day shoot and Trap will host its first event this upcoming weekend.  So shooters, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND PRACTICE.  The weather is changing and days are getting longer.  We look forward to seeing you this summer at St. Louis Skeet and Trap Club.

March 19, 2006:  Skeet Leagues

The Spring Skeet League is here.  Sign your team up now to get in on the competition.  See Adam to sign your team up.  Both Members and Non-Members are welcome.  If you are a beginning shooter, we encourage you to shoot and learn from the Skeet Vets at the club.

March 19, 2006:  Social Events

The club will be hosting a number of social events during the year starting in April (see calendar of events).  We look forward to the opportunity to spend some quality time with the membership and hope to see you there.  Since food will be available for this event, pre-registration is required and tickets are available at the pro-shop.  Please take time now to register so we will have enough food for everyone who wishes to attend.

March 19, 2006:  Safety

Safety is every member’s responsibility.  While the club management and board of directors diligently enforce these rules, they cannot be everywhere all of the time.    If you witness any violation of club safety rules, it is your responsibility to address this violator directly and immediately.  If you feel that the problem has not been immediately and permanently resolved, please advise a member of the club management team or board of directors so this issues may be pursued in more detail.

January 1, 2006:  Annual Meeting

The club member annual meeting will be held January 22, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the clubhouse.  This is your opportunity to vote for you board of directors.  Mr. Curt Mauldin will also provide a state of the club address.  If you can attend, we would love to see you there.  If you are unable to attend, please fill out a proxy form available at the clubhouse.

It’s that time of the year again.  Time to put together a team for the annual Big Johnson shoot.  The shoot will be held on February 18, 2006.  This should be a great shoot and we look forward to seeing you there.

December 18, 2005:  Round Prices Increase

Due to rising operating costs, we will be increasing all round prices by $0.25 for members and $0.75 for non-members.  This price increase will be effective January 1, 2006.

December 18, 2005:  Membership Drive

St. Louis Skeet and trap club will be conducting a membership drive beginning January 1, 2006 and running thru April 15, 2006.  During this period, any member who refers a new family member will receive and free 6-round bonus card.  Refer 5 new members and receive a free 1-year membership.
